Título : Impacto del curso “Creación de cursos virtuales en plataforma Moodle” para profesores de ciencias médicas

Resumen : ABSTRACT Background: Nowadays, together with technological changes, it is necessary to transform the teaching-learning process at all levels of education. Objective: to evaluate the impact of the Course “Creation of virtual courses on the Moodle platform”, taught to teachers of the “Calixto García” Faculty of Medical Sciences. Methods: a descriptive study was carried out in the period: January 2020-2021. Theoretical methods were used to substantiate the research, and empirical: a virtual questionnaire whose variables: General data (teaching category, scientific category and department) and with the following dimensions: Course Content (5 indicators), Interaction and Participation (2 indicators), Evaluation and Feedback (3 indicators) and Positive and Negative Aspects. Data processing was carried out using SPSS software. Results: the impact of the course was positive for 62 students (87%) and negative for 9 (13%), so it can be considered adequate. The results obtained in the questionnaire made it possible to identify suggestions to improve future editions. Conclusions: this educational innovation was perceived by the participating teachers as an experience with an impact on their training, and warned about the need to improve the orientation of the activities, and to have a much greater impact on the evaluative aspects regarding the platform.
