Abstract

Abstract Technological advances such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning, expert systems and robotics have been implemented to improve education. The objective of this research is to promote the use of these intelligent technologies to optimize the quality of education and make it more accessible, linked to the research project underway in the Education program entitled:- Improvement of Pedagogical Practices in Educational Institutions of the South Zone of Manabí, for this, a methodology with a qualitative-quantitative approach was applied, data was collected through scientific research at a theoretical and empirical level, and areas were identified where smart technologies can contribute to learning. The results of this research have shown that these intelligent tools help students develop specific skills and knowledge, better understand content and subjects, and increase their motivation to learn. Educators can deploy expert systems to help students better understand concepts, AI algorithms to learn autonomously, and robots to perform teaching tasks, giving students a more interactive and effective learning experience.
