Resumen : Abstract: Creating augmented reality content in education remains a challenge for many teachers. This article presents an analysis of various authoring tools (ATs) that enable the creation of augmented reality (AR) content without the need for programming skills. The selection of the tools is based on several criteria, including commercial license, execution platform, functionality, and friendly interface. The main objective of this analysis is to identify the ATs currently available in the market that possess the necessary characteristics to construct AR scenarios tailored to the educational field. The article addresses the selection process of the ATs through a comparative and descriptive analysis. The results of this analysis demonstrate that there are few tools available in the market, yet there is a considerable acceptance among teachers and students to implement them in educational environments. Finally, the tools are tested in real educational contexts, taking into account their availability and usability by teachers with limited digital skills. Ultimately, this helps to bridge the gap in the production of AR content and, in turn, encourages the use of technology in the classroom.
