Resumen : Abstract The present study aims to analyze the meanings and ways of implementation of specific approaches to emotions in institutional experiences at the secondary level. Three secondary schools were analyzed, where these proposals have been implemented, with differences between them in terms of the objectives, strategies and rationale for such implementation. The schools are located in Buenos Aires, Misiones and Neuquén, and were surveyed in a nationwide mapping about the incorporation of transversal and socioemotional competencies in secondary school. To analyze their proposals, interviews were conducted with their managers and with other relevant actors in the three jurisdictions. The article shows that the perspective of emotions in the different schools includes various strategies and meanings, not always framed in the paradigm of Emotional Education and, in some cases, those meanings dialogue with experiences and debates that already have a tradition in the educational field.
