Resumen : | The global implementation of new information and communication technologies (ICT) has an influence on all sectors of social life, including the activities developed by institutions such as museums. The availability of museums on the Internet generates the possibility to offer novel educational proposals to a wide variety of people. This article aims to analyze, from the perspective of creativity and learning, the website Google Cultural Institute. Specifically, we present an analytical description of Art Project, World Wonders and Historical Moments as potential environments for educational innovation. Emphasis is given to the role of virtual museums for permanent education and learning, and as complementary spaces in formal education. |
