Resumen : Abstract We present the results of educational innovations that were proposed in order to create a professional learning community among the group of instructors at a tele-secondary school. This emerged in response to the lack of pedagogic advising of rural teachers by higher level officials. The figure of the school director was recognized as a pedagogic advisor who promotes innovations together with the teaching staff. The diagnostic gave priority to instructor reflection as the central axis for the improvement of daily practices and allowed for the creation of a project centered on the construction of spaces for collective discussion called collaborative consulting. The results showed that the professors analyzed their teaching practices, recognized the lack of relevance of certain teaching interventions and of collective agreements for the curricular development of the subject of Spanish. This led them to propose curricular adjustments that were possible thanks to the work carried out in collaboration between the professors and the intervention of external agents solicited by the director-advisor.
